Paul Scholten Appointed As CEO of Buckaroo

Utrecht, the Netherlands – Today, Buckaroo will announce that Paul Scholten will commence as CEO of payment service provider Buckaroo. Since 2015, Paul Scholten has been actively involved in the organisation, as chairman of the Supervisory Board.

For over 30 years, Paul Scholten has been active in the international financial sector at ABN AMRO and KBL, as Managing Director and Chief Operational Executive. With a background in commercial and private banking, Paul possesses proven skills to realise complex projects and growth, most recently in Luxembourg, the Netherlands and France, and previously in Asia.

Since July 2018, Buckaroo is backed by BlackFin Capital Partners, a French private equity fund. Under the leadership of Paul Scholten, Buckaroo will further expand its strong position as strategic payment partner in the corporate and e-commerce market.
